On 20th June 2018, the European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem) started the collaborative process to build a new Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda (SIRA), in light of Horizon Europe.
One of the main aims of the event was to start the consultation process to build the new SusChem SIRA. Two parallel breakout sessions covering advanced materials and advanced process technologies debated priorities and looked to identify knowledge gaps. Digital technologies were also considered an enabler for creating better processes and materials.
The SusChem innovation ecosystem was also boosted by the addition of three new national technology platforms (Bulgaria, Finland and Sweden) and the day was completed with a lively and provocative panel discussion on how to leverage the strength of the innovation ecosystem to boost research and innovation in Europe. For an overview of the event, read our post-event report.
We would like to announce that our 2018 Brokerage event will be held on 23 October 2018 (Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels) and will cover the calls relevant to sustainable chemistry in the upcoming Horizon 2020 calls. Save the date!
