SusChem Romania is represented by the National Institute of Research and Development of Chemistry and Petrochemistry INCDCP-ICECHIM.
The main activities of the NTP are identifying potential partners (SMEs, universities, RTOs, technology transfer entities, etc.) for collaboration in long-term National and European programmes and dissemination of information regarding the priorities of local, regional and national areas of interest.
National level objectives
SusChem Romania aims to:
- Act as a national dissemination centre for research results in green and sustainable chemistry and integration into the European Research Area
- Strengthen strategic research capability on topics of interest to SMEs including the development of innovative technologies for bio-resources valorisation, the development of new nanomaterials and biomaterials for a wide range of applications in medicine, industry and cultural heritage, and sustainable management of resources and the environment
