The draft 'Materials 2030 Roadmap' has been released at the Conference on Industrial Technologies IndTech 2022, in Grenoble, France, with the support and engagement of EMIRI, Manufuture ETF (European Technology Platform) CEA Umicore Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft BEDA - The Bureau of European Design Associations STMicroelectronics and SusChem ETP . This is the first step of the implementation of the Materials 2030 Manifesto, which was presented by high-level representatives from European research institutes and industries to Commissioner Mariya Gabriel.
All stakeholders are invited to support a strategic European agenda on materials. “The EU Green Deal goals cannot be achieved without a strong and sustainable European Materials ecosystem, which is key to drive the green and digital transitions”, highlighted Josef R. Wuensch, SusChem chair and Senior Vice President at BASF SE.
