SusChem France was founded in 2006 and is funded by the French Government and the Union of Chemical Companies (UIC) which is in charge of the coordination and acts as the leader of the platform.

Germany
SusChem Germany is funded by the Ministry of Education & Research (40%), industry (45%), DECHEMA (15%).
The platform works in partnership with VCI (support and responsible for horizontal issues), GDCh (Chair of coordination panel and relations to academic chemistry community), DIB (German Industry Association for Biotechnology; support and relations to industrial biotechnology community).
Its stakeholders represent some 300 entities including large companies and SMEs, academia, research funding organizations.

Italy
SusChem Italy has been supported by the University of Bologna since 2006 under the auspices of CRUI, in close cooperation with Federchimica, CNR, ENEA, SCI and several Interuniversity Consortia, scientific/environmental associations, Centers of Excellence, etc. It is currently coordinated by the University of Bologna.

Slovenia
SusChem Slovenia was founded in 2006. It is funded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
It has 19 stakeholder members (15 SMEs and 4 public academic institutions).

SusChem Spain is funded by the Ministry of Science & Innovation (60%) and its partners (40%): the Spanish Chemical Industry (FEIQUE), the Spanish Association of Bio enterprises (ASEBIO), the Spanish Federation of Innovation & Technology Organizations (FEDIT), the Network of university Technology Transfer Offices (Red OTRI de Universidades), and the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).
Its stakeholders represent more or less 250 entities, including companies, associations, universities, observers, public research organisations, and technology centers.

It works in partnership with the Chemistry Innovation Knowledge Transfer Network, the Biosciences Knowledge Transfer Network, the Institution of Chemical Engineers, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Society of Chemical Industry, and the Chemical Industries Association.
Its stakeholders represent more than 500 companies, 100 university departments, and public stakeholders.
